Perfect timing! Just heading out to IKEA in a few minutes! Love that idea with the tin cans hanging from the rod. I’m going to pick up a rod & some hooks, so we can make one for over Delaney’s art desk. Also looking for some slim espresso colored shelves to display/store some of Jake’s cars on, down low where he can reach them. That pallet headboard got me thinking too…wonder where I could find one for Jake’s room…. Thank you for the inspiration!
Thank you sooooo incredibly much for this blog post! Spent all day yesterday shopping around for traditional decor and found nothing I wanted for my kids rooms, this is epically awesome:)
Kim – I love the space you created for your son! And I remember that we both were working on updating our transitioning son’s rooms at the same time last year. Thanks so much for including my very own son’s room in your round up!
Just got inspired to get to work finishing my own sons bedroom. Got some great ideas, enjoyed seeing some great ideas!
Love these. Our grandson lives with us now and really needed a space to call his own. Last summer I painted his room using the idea in It All Started With Paint. It looks amazing and he loves it!
